Accepted Solution. For Dragon Age 2, you'll need the game and all the DLCs on one account to use the content. You might try to contact our live support and ask our advisors if it would be possible to move the DLCs to your account, so you could continue the story with your characters.
What worked for me was: 1) Open the Origin client (so you're authenticated) 2) Run "DragonAge2Config.exe" from your Dragon Age 2 install folder (mine was located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Dragon Age II\bin_ship) - this should register your game's proper install location. 3) Attempt to run the DLC installers again.

Mark of the Assassin works best late in Act 2 or very early in Act 3. Legacy definitely works best of all in Act 3, though, so for the best story pacing (and to avoid cramming DLC after DLC and losing track of the base game main quest) I prefer doing MotA in Act 2 and then Legacy in Act 3.
