I own fiat bravo 1.9 multi jet diesel 2007 model clocking at 95k. I recently started hearing hissing noise from engine. I had local garage man looked at it mentioned turbo inlet hose split but he donโt have parts available immediately. The problem is I have flight to catch in 2 days and I will be struggling with public transport to reach on time.
I have the vl36 on my grande punto t-jet which came off a abarth grande punto. Its louder than the vl37 was but i put that down to the larger compressor wheels. Sounds more like a turbo now With the vl37 it only use to boost to 10psi (if that) but once mapped it boosts to 15psi standard and 20 - 22 on over boost.
Hi everyone i have a big problem with my car and its hard to explain , it shakes everytime when accelerate and the shake come from the engine and happend when the turbo gets full and if u dont pull of ur leg from the gas it open the check engine light for 3-4 seconds. I canโt press the gas pedal
FilipM. Currently driving a Grande Punto Sport 1.4 T-JET, and comming from the Starjet (which looked better in Carribean Orange ) there's a massive difference. This is my 3rd Punto so far, I had a MK2 1.2 16V, then a Grande 1.4 16V, now the T-JET. Got my t-jet from the Fiat dealer with 1800km on it, I've just passed 6500 now.
carlorff. I am buying a 2009 t-jet 1.4 88kW with 69000km Bravo, but just before I bought it, the engine light came up. So I went to the Fiat dealer and they connected the car to the OBD and it threw out P0240 Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance. The service guy said that it does not even turn the turbo when the throttle is
Manufacturers fit recirculating BOVs to achieve three outcomes: To reduce the noise caused by compressor surge on throttle closure To speed-up turbo response following gearchanges To reduce airflow metering problems caused by reverse flow back through the airflow meter on throttle closure
