Yes but cloud save probably wouldn't have changed anything in this case. The corrupted save would get uploaded to the cloud as well you know, and they don't keep a bunch of backups in the cloud save so you would have been fucked anyway. Cloud saves are up to the devs. Epic provides it to anyone who wants it.
